The Hopgood Theatre was officially opened in 1985 as the Noarlunga Theatre and formed part of the southern TAFE Campus. Country Arts SA has since taken over the management and renamed it the Hopgood Theatre after Dr Don Hpgood who made a significant contribution to the Arts in the southern region. The Hopgood Theatre is available for commercial hire and offers audiences a licenced bar, a 492 seat auditorium, easy car parking and computerized box office ticketing.
