Cast:
The bohemians are an idealistic, penniless bunch intent on enjoying the festive season. Tribulations, celebrations and a troubled love triangle provide a counterpoint to the genuine and profound love between Rodolfo and Mimi. Puccini's poignant music, performed here by a Chamber Orchestra, amplifies the drama, and, so long as we believe in the characters, their journey inevitably touches our most fundamental human emotions.
Experienced choreographer/director Nick Carroll always aims to entertain, and with its blend of humour, romance and tragedy, La Boheme is fertile material for a complete operatic experience in the best traditions of Co-Opera.
