Avenue Q

Director: Jonathon Biggins

Cast: Mitchell Butel

Performed by a wonderful mix of humans and puppets, Avenue Q features puppets in the buff and songs like "If You Were Gay", "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" and "The Internet is for Porn". Cross 'Sesame Street' with 'The Muppet Show', give it an R-rating and you've got the Tony Award-winning Avenue Q!

AVENUE Q opened on Broadway in 2003, beating blockbuster WICKED for BEST MUSICAL, BEST BOOK and BEST SCORE at the 2004 Tony Awards. It is still a hit on Broadway and is currently playing its 4th year on London's Westend.

But be warned... this is not a show for the kids!

Please note: Avenue Q may be inappropriate for 12 years of age and under. Avenue Q does use puppets, however this is an adult show, and is not suitable for young children.

"There is much to love about Avenue Q.  The cast are fantastic, the puppets they control are smart-mouthed but charming, the pace is cracking, the lyrics funny, the set is cleverly designed and looks great, and the air is thick with undiluted fun.

Avenue Q is like an amalgamation of Sesame Street and South Park that is set in a grimy part of New York. While it is famous for being rude and crude, it is also delightfully sweet."
