Cast:

Tchaikovsky composed a magical score to Pushkin's Russian literary masterpiece, Yevgeny Onyegin.  It follows the lives of the Russian wealthy class of the early 19th Century focusing on the love between Tatyana and Onegin, her initial romantic idealism crushed by his brutal response; and their final mutual admission of love abandoned because of her strict logalty to her husband.  Tchaikovsky's score is remarkable for its emotional intensity and the grand, inspiring musical ideas that have become as legendary as his famous symphonies and ballet music.

In addition to Co-Opera's well known cast of principals, this semi-staged productionn will also include a talented mixed chorus special to the occasion.
