Spirit of Africa features Ziggi & The Heart of Africa, a vibrant Afro/jazz dance band led by the indomitable Senegalese-born musician and dancer extraordinaire, Ziggi Mabeye Diagne, alongside the Blessed Brothers, a gospel-themed vocal group.

Ziggi & The Heart of Africa play a fusion of African, Latin and Arabic rhythms with elements of reggae, funk and jazz thrown into the mix. Their African musical influence is primarily groovy M'balah rhythms, contemporary cadences unique to Senegal in West Africa.

The Blessed Brothers are a group of young African refugees who sing moving, powerful gospel songs in a cappella style. This promises to be a high-energy concert that will have audiences dancing, singing along and cheering for more.
