Patch Theatre Company presents a diverse repertoire of theatre productions for 4-8 year olds and their families. Designed to provoke, tickle, prod and beguile children, Patch celebrates the joy of play, the whims of the imagination and the challenges of children growing and developing through the most complex and telling phase of their lives.
In the company's 37 year history it has performed to 1.45 million children and their carers world wide. Patch is based in Adelaide but tours nationally and internationally. In 2008 Patch was the recipient of a National Helpmann Award for Best Presentation for Children and was the recipient of the 2009 Ruby award for sustained contribution.
The Patch Theatre objective? Simple, yet wondrous theatre experiences that are deeply rendered at a child's level of comprehension and perspective. Elegant simplicity!
